Mornings in the Okanagan

It's been nearly 6 years since I moved to the Kelowna from Alberta and one of the things that I truly love about this beautiful city is the fact that Okanagan Lake is nestled in the middle of the city, providing access to its beautiful shores at any time of day. One of my favorite things to do is to head down to the water with a coffee in the mornings to enjoy the quiet, peace and solitude before the beaches start to buzz with summer activity for the day. Coming from High Prairie, Alberta, the closest beach in the area is over an hours drive away so to be able to be in close proximity to water is a true blessing. During one of my excursions, I had bought my camera with me to capture some shots for a personal project that I am currently working on and I couldn't resist getting a few extra shots of my outing.
