Metis and Youth Community Caring Forum

The Metis Commission for Children and Families of BC and The Chilliwack Metis Association hosted a Metis and Youth Caring Forum at the Coast Chilliwack Hotel to discuss the current state affairs of BC for Metis Children in Care and explore ways to support our Metis children and their families involved in the care system. Metis from various organizations gathered together for to discuss, exchange ideas and listen to one another. The event entertainment came in the form of jigging and fiddling. It was a pleasure and an honor to be a part of this event and listening to everyone's powerful stories.
