The Yellow Sundress

While attending Centre for Arts and Technology for the Digital Photography course, one of our first projects was to create a stop motion film. Stop motion is an animation technique that physically manipulates an object so that it appears to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a fast sequence. This film titled The Yellow Sundress was created based on a personal and traumatic experience from my childhood and was also created as a basis of awareness on the emotional and mental trials that people go through stemming from traumatic childhood experiences. The piece created speaks for itself with the depth of emotion involved. Link Provided Below.
