I am so excited to share images from this shoot. I Had the amazing opportunity to attend The Metis Commission for Children and Families of BC Annual General Meeting hosted at the Ramada Inn Hotel here in Kelowna. This group is a non profit society which aims to bridge relationships between communities, services and government to ensure cultural safety for Métis children, youth and families. It was truly an awe inspiring event full of warmth and laughter, dancing and singing. We had the honor of being graced with the presence of Elder Winston Wuttunee who is a famous Native Folk singer with charisma to match. It was truly an awe-inspiring event which made me feel so proud of being part of the Metis Community here in BC.
