Lately I have been making an effort to be more consistent with my work rather than being inconsistent. As a photographer and an artist, there are times where I get into creative rut where I can't come up with any kind of concept for my work to save my life. Usually when I experience times like these, I don't do anything. So I've decided that enough is enough and have been becoming more aware and proactive when this happens. Instead of doing nothing, I've been pushing myself to create even when I feel I don't have it in me at the moment. One thing that really helped was being able to express myself creatively through self portrait photography
What better subject than to photograph ones self when you have a goal of creating evocative and emotionally charged imagery. My aim is to create pieces capturing the fragility of human emotions and experiences. As a Conceptual Fine Art Photographer, I connect on a deeply emotional level with my work and every piece that I come up with is created with a depth of emotion. Here are a few examples of my self-portrait pieces that I have created over my journey as a photographer.
